Color Options

The color of a background, shape, or text box can be set to either a solid color or a gradient. Users can select from one of the basic color options provided by SlideRocket or use the advanced color options to select the exact shade desired.

Basic Color Options

To apply one of SlideRocket’s basic color options, click one of the small color swatches provided.

 

Advanced Color Options

To access SlideRocket’s advanced color options, click the largest color swatch to open the ColorPicker

From the ColorPicker there are 6 possible ways to set the color:

  • Color Palette menu
    • Select from prepackaged shades by clicking color swatches
  • Sliders menu
    • Use sliders to set RGB codes
    • Enter RGB codes into three boxes
    • Enter Hex code into Hex box
    • Use Looking Glass icon Screen_Shot_2013-04-19_at_11.37.56_AM.png to match color in ColorPicker to any color in presentation
  • Color Palette or Sliders menu
    • Use Opacity slider to set transparency of color

 

 

Applying a Gradient Fill

A gradient fill is a continuous blend of two or more different colors.

    1. Select gradient swatch Screen_Shot_2013-04-19_at_11.39.14_AM.png from Fill options

    2. Double-click an existing gradient handle Screen_Shot_2013-04-19_at_11.40.30_AM.png to open ColorPicker. Select color to set as base color for that part of the gradient 
    3. Drag gradient handle button to move that gradient color
    4. Click anywhere on gradient bar to add a new color with a corresponding handle
    5. Select type of gradient:
      • Screen_Shot_2013-04-19_at_11.41.03_AM.png: Linear gradient (default)
      • Screen_Shot_2013-04-19_at_11.41.12_AM.png: Radial gradient
    6. Drag circle, enter number into box or use arrow keys to set angle of gradient

ADVANCED NOTE: To remove a gradient color, right-click gradient handle and select Delete Entry

You can do that in a Custom Theme under Default Styles. That color palette will be available for every presentation or slide that uses that theme.

Does anyone know if it is possible to create and save a custom color palette for colors that are used over-and-over?
