SlideRocket’s Promote My Presentation is a new feature that allows users to attract more viewers to presentations through social media and organic search. Lite, Pro, Enterprise and Google Education users can now apply Promote Presentation to show social sharing buttons for Google+, Twitter, and Facebook, or to add a presentation outline that is accessible and discoverable to search engines like Google and Bing. Pro and Enterprise admin can also limit sharing abilities of users. 

 

ADVANCED NOTES:

• To upgrade to Pro account, log in to your account and go to Account > Plans and Billing. To open a new account or upgrade to Enterprise click here
• This feature applies to presentations played from a public link. It will not work on embedded presentations 

 

Accessing Promote Presentation

1. Double-click presentation
2. Click Share tab  
3. Publish tab  should be chosen

 

Lite User Features

Lite users can maximize their presentation traffic two different ways using Promote Presentation. 

 

Lite User Promote Presentation

• Show presentation description: Check box to show a description that will be posted to the SlideRocket public link or to social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter
• Show presentation outline: Check box to include an outline of presentation. The outline will make your presentation accessible and discoverable to search engines. The outline is automatically filled with the text used in the presentation 
• Show social sharing buttons: Check box to enable Google+, Twitter, and Facebook buttons so visitors can instantly share your presentation on social media

 

 

Pro and Enterprise User Features

Pro and Enterprise users now have the ability to turn on Promote Presentation and options. Pro and Enterprise admin can also set Sharing options for other users. For more information about sharing options click here.

 

 

Pro and Enterprise Promote Presentation

• Promote My Presentation: Check box to turn on Promote Presentation for individual presentations
• Show presentation description: Check box to show a description that will be posted to the SlideRocket public link or to social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter 
• Show presentation outline: Check box to include an outline of presentation. The outline will make your presentation accessible and discoverable to search engines. The outline is automatically filled with the text used in the presentation
• Show social sharing buttons: Check box to enable Google+, Twitter, and Facebook buttons so visitors can instantly share your presentation on social media

 

Sharing

This menu can also be accessed within Edit Group Capabilities. Turn Sharing settings on/off to set specific permission guidelines. For more information click here.
