I just paid for the Pro version, and now I find I can't move something from point A to point B.  Accckkkkk.  I've been really pushing SR to my group; this is going to be embarrassing.

WOW this is basic PPT feature.  And when trying to make content more engaging it is certainly something you need.  I just started a trial and this is the first feature I was looking for and OH not available.  1 negative and counting...

In addition, it would be REALLY great to be able to carry viewer inputted content from one slide to the next, so presentations could be more interactive with their viewers.  Would raise the existing great capabilities of SL to a MUCH HIGHER level.

Indeed.  I've got a bunch of decks I would love to convert over to slide rocket, but I just can't do it without motion paths.  Some concepts just need to be illustrated with an element moving from one spot in the slide to another.

Thanks for the update Tara. I just thought I'd echo my desire for this feature. I'm a big fan of SlideRocket and have been converting some custom PPT slides I often use for training sessions. Many of these have embedded path animations which really help to drive home certain concepts. Looking forward to this feature in a future release. Keep up the great work!

To clarify SlideRocket offers a variety of animations. However, path animation (moving an element from location a to location b) isn't currently offered. Some customers give the appearance of path animations by setting slides to auto advance and having the 1st slide where the element is in location a and the 2nd slide where the element is in location b.

We appreciate everyone's vote for this feature over the last year. This year we've been focusing on expanding our mobile offerings including the mobile players and iPad app. We've also released the #1 customer requested feature: image cropping. Next year's features are currently being decided. We take customer feature quests as well as our overall resources into consideration when planning what new features will be developed. As new features are release we'll continue to update these forums.

This request is not about animations but deals with moving an element from point A to point B on a slide through a path that can be  freely defined by the user. Even Powerpoint has that....This one is now more than one year old. When will you move??

Big issue for me. I use this feature often in Power Point and do not want to loose that in SR!

linear from point a to point b would do the trick.

I agree - lack of animation is mostly a dealbreaker for me.
