Importing a Presentation

When a PowerPoint presentation is imported it is converted into a SlideRocket presentation that can be edited further within SlideRocket. The presentation will appear in the Presentation Library and picture files will appear in the Media Library. The master slides will be converted into a theme that will appear in the Theme Library.

1. From Presentation Library click Import button 
   
2. Select Import from PowerPoint
3. Click Next
4. Select import option
   
• Import as editable: Convert imported document to editable SlideRocket presentation
• Import as images: Convert imported document to non-editable SlideRocket presentation. Use this option when fast and accurate conversion is needed. In this version, imported slides cannot be edited within SlideRocket although slides can be added to presentation within SlideRocket. Animations and builds will not be preserved with this import
5. Click Next
   
6. Click Choose .ppt or .pptx file…
7. Click Open to upload file
8. Click Finish. Once upload is complete, presentation will appear in Presentation Library
