Changing a Password

There are three ways to change a password.

 

Changing Your Password

  1. Log in to SlideRocket account
  2. Click account accounttab.png
  3. Click Change your password... changeyourpassword.png
  4. Enter Current Password

  5. Enter New Password
  6. Retype New Password
  7. Click Ok
  8. Click Ok again

  

Changing Another User’s Password (Admins Only)

  1. Log in to SlideRocket account
  2. Click account accounttab.png
  3. Click Manage Users and Groups manageusersgroups.png
  4. Right-click Email/User ID to be changed
  5. Click Change password...

  6. Select option
    entercurrentpw.png
    • Assign temporary password: Provide user with auto-generated password
    • Enter new password for user. Enter new password. If selected, first Enter New Password then Retype New Password
  7. Check Require password to change on next login (optional)
  8. Click Ok
  9. New password automatically sends to user via email 

 

ADVANCED NOTES:

  • This will only change your SlideRocket password. If you have logged in through Google single sign-on, you will need to change your password in your Google account
  • An admin can change the password of any user in the account

 

 

Resetting a Lost Password

  1. Go to https://login.sliderocket.com/
  2. Click Forgot your password?
  3. Enter email address for account

  4. Click OK
  5. Click OK again
  6. An email “SlideRocket password request” will appear in your inbox with instructions to reset password
  7. Click link to generate new password
  8. New password automatically sends to you via email “SlideRocket password
  9. Use new password to log in

 

ADVANCED NOTE: After resetting lost password, update if desired following steps above.
