How to Save

It is recommended to save immediately after creating a presentation and frequently thereafter as Sliderocket does not auto-save presentations. There is no storage cost for saving changes. If SlideRocket exits unexpectedly, the user will be prompted to recover unsaved changes the next time they log in. The auto-recover feature is only activated after the presentation is saved the first time and is not triggered if the browser window is closed while still in the Presentation Editor or Slide Editor. If there are unsaved changes in a presentation, a pop-up will appear periodically reminding the user to save. This pop-up can be turned off by checking Do not remind me again. Themes are saved directly in the Theme Editor and automatically applied to all presentations using that theme.

There are four ways to save a SlideRocket presentation.

Selecting Save from File Menu

ADVANCED NOTES

  • Click No to exit without saving changes and Cancel to continue to work within the Presentation Editor or Slide Editor
  • The prompt is different for presentations, slides and asset. For presentations and slides, the prompt will appear anytime a user tries to leave the Presentation Editor or Slide Editor without first saving changes. For asset, a pop-up prompt will appear when Change Media is clicked
