Downgrading an Account Created Through Google

SlideRocket Pro and Trial memberships are canceled by downgrading the account to Lite.

Downgrading a SlideRocket Account Created through the Google Chrome Web Store

Uninstalling the SlideRocket Chrome App does not cancel the SlideRocket membership. If the SlideRocket Chrome App is uninstalled but the SlideRocket account is not downgraded separately the account will continue to be charged the monthly membership fee. Follow the steps below prior to uninstalling the SlideRocket Chrome App.

  1. Log in to SlideRocket account
  2. Click account in upper right-hand corner
  3. Click Plan and Billing
  4. Click Upgrade/downgrade plan...
  5. Select SlideRocket Lite and click Next
  6. Read through downgrade information and click Next
  7. Enter reason for downgrading and and click Next
  8. Review information and click Place Order 

 

ADVANCED NOTE: Downgrading the account sets it to Lite, which is a scaled-down free version of SlideRocket. A Lite account can be upgraded at anytime from the account tab in SlideRocket or by emailing sales@sliderocket.com

 

 

Downgrading a SlideRocket Account Created through Google Apps

SlideRocket accounts created through Google Apps are managed through Google Wallet. Any changes that effect billing, including downgrading the account, must be made directly through Google Wallet. To cancel an account created through Google Apps, the SlideRocket subscription needs to be cancelled in Google Wallet. 

  1. Go to http://checkout.google.com and sign in to Google Account
  2. From Transactions page, click View Order link for subscription to be canceled
  3. Click Cancel subscription button
