Desktop Presenter error message: “This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured.”

This can be fixed by doing a fresh install of the SlideRocket Desktop Presenter. This is done using the following steps:

  1. Close the Desktop Presenter (if open)
  2. Go to http://www.sliderocket.com/product/desktop_presenter.html
  3. Click Install
  4. In the menu that pops-up click OK
  5. When prompted to replace the current install of the Desktop Presenter click Replace
