Hyperlinks allow users to turn any slide element into a clickable link that redirects the viewer to another slide in the presentation, an outside website, or an asset file. There can be multiple hyperlinks on a slide and even multiple within a text box.

Creating a Hyperlink

Types of Hyperlinks

Jump to Slide

Navigate to another slide when an element is clicked.

  • Next Slide: Advances one slide forward
  • Previous Slide: Advances one slide back
  • First Slide: Navigates to first slide in presentation
  • Last Slide: Navigates to last slide in presentation
  • Last Slide Viewed: Returns to previous slide seen
  • Slide… Creates hyperlink that jumps to a specific slide

Open URL

Open the specified URL in a browser window.

  • Check Open in new window to have URL open outside of window playing presentation
  • Send an email from within presentation by typing mailto:email address in URL box (ex: mailto:support@sliderocket.com)

Play Asset

Play a video or audio file, or open a picture.

  1. Click Choose... to open Media Library
  2. Select picture, video, flash or audio file to link to element
    • Picture/Flash: When element is clicked the picture will open full-size against a black background. Clicking anywhere on the screen will return to the original slide
    • Video: When element is clicked the video will open full-size against a black background. Click the video to pause and restart it. Click outside the video to return to the slide. If nothing is clicked, the presentation will automatically return to the original slide when the video is done playing
    • Audio: When element is clicked the audio will start playing. Click the element again to restart the audio file. Click outside the element to end the audio and advance the presentation
  3. Click Add Media
