I don't think this is yet documented anywhere, but I just discovered that you can use html in the hover tip text box.  So far I have tried fonts, sizes and alignment tags and all have worked, as well as the <img src> tag.  I haven't been able to get it to play media yet, but I did make it a suggestion (it would be awesome for interactive content), even if it was just the ability to add content from the library.
