We're always working to improve and expand our PowerPoint import features. Here's a current list of what's support on import and how to get your new SlideRocket presentations to match your original PowerPoint.

  • PowerPoint 2003 (.ppt)
  • PowerPoint 2007 (.pptx)
  • Keynote presentations when exported to PowerPoint file type
  • Master Slides
  • Image Formats: JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG
    • After import the images are saved in the Asset Library for use in multiple presentations
    • Videos isn't supported on import yet. However, the video can be uploaded into the asset library and then added back into the presentation. If the video isn't already a Flash Video (.flv), convert it before uploading to the asset library
  • Charts and Shapes
    • After importing charts and shapes are converted to non-editable images and saved in the asset library for use in multiple presentations
  • Standard Bullets
    • Custom Bullets aren't yet supported, but this feature is in development. In the interim convert the bullet to an image then upload it into SlideRocket's asset library to use in your presentation
  • Standard Fonts
  • Most Transitions
    • Any transition that isn't supported is converted to CrossFade
  • Most Animations (called Builds in SlideRocket)
    • Any build that isn't supported is converted to Fade
    • Mixed build in and outs aren't supported. To mix builds, open the presentation in the Editor and click on an element with a build, then click on the Builds tab. From here you can drag and drop the builds into the desired order
  • Most Text Spacing
    • Some paragraph spacing and word wrapping is not available at this time. Edit the text box, click on it in the editor and use the Element Property Panel. For more information about editing Text click here
