Adding Notes to a Presentation

SlideRocket’s Notes feature allows users to add messages to slides that can only be seen and printed from within the Presentation Editor. Notes cannot be printed when the presentation is printed from the SlideRocket Player, Meeting, Portable Presentation, or Desktop Presenter.

 

Showing Slide Notes

By default, notes are hidden.

  1. Open presentation in Presentation Editor
  2. Click View
  3. Select Show Notes. A checkmark will appear next to Show Notes

 


Entering Slide Notes

Notes can be entered by typing directly into the notes field or by copying and pasting text.


Printing a Presentation with Notes

  1. Open presentation in Presentation Editor
  2. Click File
  3. Select Print... 
  4. Check Print Notes
  5. Click Print. The presentation will export as PDF which can be printed
  6. Click OK to download file
  7. Select location to download and click Save

From the Presentation Editor

  1. Open presentation in Presentation Editor
  2. Click File
  3. Select Export...
  4. Select PDF Presentation 
  5. Click Export
  6. Check Print Notes
  7. Click Print. This will export presentation to PDF to preview or save before choosing to print
  8. Click OK to download file
  9. Select location to download and click Save

 

From the Presentations Dashboard

  1. Double-click desired presentation
  2. Click Download from Presentations Dashboard
  3. Click Adobe PDF
  4. Check Print Notes
  5. Click Print. This will export presentation to PDF to preview or save before choosing to print
  6. Click OK to download file
  7. Select location to download and click Save

 

ADVANCED NOTES:

  • Users can print up to 9 pages of slides with notes per page. Keep in mind that slides will automatically re-size depending on available space. Also, long notes may get cut off due to space constraints
